Volunteer Chairpersons

If you would like to volunteer to assist in any of the areas below, please feel free to contact the chairperson indicated by either email or phone. We appreciate any assistance as we strive for a successful season.

FUNDRAISING

Fundraising Coordinator Coordinates and assists all fundraising activities.	-	-	-
Football Concessions Schedules and attends Home Football Concessions. Very important fundraiser and all parents are encouraged to work these events.	-	-	-
Basketball Concessions Schedules and attends Home Basketball Concessions. Very important fundraiser and all parents/students are encouraged to work these events.	-	-	-
Kroger Cares Maintains records for the Kroger Cares program. Very important fundraiser and all parents/students are encouraged to purchase the cards. A portion of this fundraiser will be placed in the student's band account and can assist in paying for band fees.	Dawn Shirey	446-6682	-
Applebees Pancake Breakfast Attends pancake breakfasts held at Applebee's. Very important fundraiser and all parents/students are encouraged to sell the pancake breakfast tickets. $4 of each $5 ticket sold by the student will be placed in the student's band account and can assist in paying for band fees. Ink Cartridge/Cell Phone Recycling Program Collect cartridges and cell phones from businesses and individuals. Each item is sent to the recycling company and the funds assist in paying our annual budget.	Cheryl Smith Scott	866-4410	Email

MEALS

Meals at Games and Competitions Provides meals for the students at away games and competitions. Volunteers are needed to assist with the preparations.	-	-	-
Meals at Band Camp Provides meals and drinks for the students during Pre-Band Camp and Band Camp July 17-28. Volunteers are needed to assist with the preparations.	-	-	-

OTHER IMPORTANT AREAS

Chaperones Provides an adequate amount of chaperones for each event. Volunteers are needed to chaperone.	-	-	-
Equipment/Pit Crew Ensure equipment is in working order; volunteers needed for moving equipment for games/competitions.	-	-	-
Medical Equipment and Forms Ensure medical bag is equipped for the season and is brought to each event; brings student's medical forms to each event in case of emergency.	-	-	-
Uniforms Keeps uniforms and accessories clean and hung up properly in the uniform room. Volunteers needed to assist.	-	-	-
Advertising Takes information to the newspapers promoting the band; places advertisements in the newspapers for upcoming events. Volunteers needed to assist.	-	-	-
Scrapbooking Prepares the scrapbooks for each of the seniors. Volunteers are needed to assist.	-	-	-
Phone Tree Creation of phone tree to enable messages from the band to reach the parents. Volunteers needed to assist.	-	-	-
